IN OTHER NEWS:
The Sound Movement, most recently licensed from The UK have also got a media single out now, from the forthcoming album "ichi go ichi e".
The Sound Movement have covered three continents and four major cities in their short lifespan, their journeys proving a rich source of inspiration for their dreamy, dark and hypnotic melodies.
Andrew Day (vocals/guitar/mandolin); aka electronic artist Nightswimmer, and Kat Johnston (bass) joined creative forces and formed The Sound Movement in their hometown of Melbourne, Australia, before they packed up & declared Tokyo, Japan their new home along with their former drummer (now replaced by Graham Brown). Amid Tokyo's bustling urban life, and a round of live performances, was where they finished writing & recording what they'd started in AUS. London - their final destination- saw the completion of the recording of Ichi Go Ichi E where it was released in August 2006 thru respected British indie label, Truck Records/Cargo.
"Breezy, refreshing and so much substance...The Sound Movement have a sound of their own, they have a sound that's just right...You will love this rather simple, rather clever, uplifting, compelling and rather recommended album" - The Organ, (ALBUM OF THE WEEK)
