JONAH D - ADAM DEACON LIVE FREESTYLE SET...NEW!!!

About Me

I’m all about music…i suppose it all started when i was just a yute. Mumzy would be in the front room- Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, Gregory Isaac…pure old skool revival would be played. loud! whilst my sister’s would be listening to the likes of SWV, R. Kelly, Vanilla Ice & new kids on the block. Basically I’ve always been around music and always been able to appreciate a good tune! I knew from morning music was what I wanted to do.
In 1995, when girls were a little less hyped, Hackney downs was closing down and guns weren’t really around (things were kinda bless), Jungle was getting a bit out of date and there was a new sound around…Garage. I was about 13 when I first dropped my first mix at a friends house - I’ve got some funny tapes from back then.
One of my inspirations were heartless crew… FONTIE use to mix R'n'B with garage, and heartless called that a CRISP BISCUIT! Back then I thought that was future mixing!
I had big mixtapes- mixtapes like TDKs old school, I used to record tunes off radio, if u wanted to hear the latest decent tracks I was your man!
I just felt good music…I was 15 when I got my own decks…. gemini’s PT1000! No Techs yet, it just wasn’t that time of day cos to be honest times were hard, but now I've upgrade, got some tec's…moving. But u know what though- if you’re an up & coming dj and u master mixin on cheap decks when it comes to mixing on technics you’re laughing! but don't get it twisted 1210's don't cost £335 each for nothing, let's just say you get what you pay for!
I’ve DJ’ed on a few stations from OUCH FM… (so so ghetto) to BLAZE FM (1… 2 shows)… Y2K… MYSTIC (too road for the road)… and last but not least KISS 100… me and my clique haunted house managed to get ourselve's on a legit station, management were more than happy with what we were bringing to the table, but slowly, things started to change!....polictics!!...if you wanna know a bit more, read chyna's bio...anyway so here i am!!
I've toured with several artist, I even gave one rapper his name. I've supporting various artists including Chamillionaire, The Streets, 50 cent & The Game. I’ve mixed at a variety of night clubs from SCALA to MINISTRY OF SOUND but I’m not only out at night…I’ve been a host DJ at MAX POWER showcase and done other similar events. Just for the 'record'- Vinyl is the way forward!! CD decks are for bpm DJ’s (hold tight chyna… DJ “nothing long”).
Anyway so nowadays, I find myself producing more than mixin cos mixing alone will only take you so far…I remember one of my 1st beats- hold tight Adam…we re-made the rug rats theme and thought it was liiive!
Well now I've got a stack of beats in da pipeline that I'm looking to give to talented artists who i'm feeling, but let me make it known i’m not the type of PRODUCER who's fixed on one genre- so keep a look out and expect the unexpected.
Spread the word J ON A H i'm about.
