Well,
my name is Lonnie p. but im more known as Dj Shyne. i have been making beats for a total of 7 1/4 years now and i just started really selling my beats in November 2006. i was born and raised in Cleveland ohio. but i have lived Illinois for brief periods of time. I've always loved music and believed with the right mind set that it could mentally heal almost any problem. i am open to alot of different types of music everything from classical to rock and roll.
Actually starting from a discussion me and my friends had about music and our contributions to it is how i started acoustic ent. and then, since the name was already taken by different groups and genres of entertainment, i decided to give birth to Ds.p ( DjShyne Productions ).
And ever since 2001 i have been perfecting my craft and my vision of production to what you hear today. i did not have much musical training in school grades k-12 ( Cleveland metropolitan school district/ Illinois schools /shaker heights school district ). But as i entered college after my first semester at cuyahoga community college majoring in information tech. i discovered that my college offered a recording arts program and i have been focused on earning that degree ever since.
Now i know how to read and write musical notation, and im better at the keyboard and learning the guitar. These skills are set aside from my recording knowledge and experience.
and today i am almost done with completing my degree in recording arts and i have done major collaborations with different styles of producers which you will later read about in the credits and clients section of my website. thank you.
