The female emcee has all but disappeared from today's hip hop landscape. The few that are active are relegated to playing cheerleader on the sidelines in a game where they used to be Queens, or at the very least, ladies first. Calamity Jane strives to replace the ganstas and thugs with intellectual stories of real live and make music a movement, not just a party. Calamity Jane, born September 15, became interested in music at a very young age. She currently resides in Hickory, NC. Her educational background past high school has been attending numerous Fine Arts classes in college and concentrating on painting and sketching.
