Aleckxis Jaina AKA The Future didn't always have what all the other kids had as a toddler but what she lacked in material things, she more than made up for it with her imagination. She would hum and sing while observing how things worked and what their purpose was. It was this state of mind that led her to the doorway of her Father, DJ Bone's studio.
After school, Aleckxis would join her Dad in his studio, eager to try to figure out how things work and why they do what they do. Following years of schooling, tutorials and advice from her Dad, she has learned how to DJ and how to make tracks. Aleckxis (now 12 years old) a 7th grader at Kentucky Country Day School is set and eager to blaze a trail heading the Advanced Black Music and Detroit Techno youth movement.
The Future made history with her first solo single "They Call Me" released on Sect Records in 2009. With more releases, a live performance and DJ sets to come, stay tuned for FUTURE updates!
