gandhi’s cookbook SUMMER UK TOUR DATES UP!!

About Me

Gandhi's Cookbook is a band consisting of four guys living in Dubai and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. We play a mix of punk and ska music, we embrace DIY ethic, and we believe that lyrics, ideology, and what one has to say are the most important parts of music. We believe in lyrical themes beyond the norm of mediocre watered-down bands and 'punx' who sing pointless songs about drinking beer, your 'crew' having your back and starting fights. We believe in thinking for yourself.
The name 'Gandhi's Cookbook' is an analogy - mankind strives to achieve a high level of stature in society, such as that of Mahatma Gandhi, but instead of putting in the work and sacrifice that he did, man would prefer to have things handed to them and spoon fed to them - in an easy to consume, concise 'how-to' guide such as a cookbook: Gandhi's Cookbook.
We have recently released our debut EP titled 'In the Cesspool of Culture' it is available for sale at all of our shows and hopefully via mailorder some time soon.
If you would like to download the songs that are streamed from this myspace page, they can be downloaded as the 'Egotistical Game / War' single and the 'In the Cesspool of Culture' sampler titled '3 Songs from the Cesspool' by clicking on the respective album's artwork below:
