At the time of his retirement after the 1989 season, Steve Largent ranked as the NFL’s all-time receiving leader in catches, yards and touchdowns. He started from the ground up as a 13-game rookie starter during the Seattle Seahawks expansion season of 1976. He spent his entire 14-year career in Seattle and averaged 16 yards per catch and became the first player in league history to reach 100 career receptions. He recorded catches in 177-consecutive regular-season games, a streak that began in 1977 and extended all the way to his final pro game. He did all this in fewer years, and fewer games per season than Jerry Rice. Steve Largent is the greates WR to ever play the game!!
