Esta banda de raÃces punk-skater formada en 2002 por Pablo Florio -baterÃa-, MartÃn Dócimo -guitarras- y Esteban Zunzunegui -voz y bajo- fue definida en 2004 como emo punk por periodistas de ClarÃn, el diario de mayor tirada del paÃs.
El estilo de Charlie 3 (popular en sudamérica a través bandas como Green Day) propone un sonido punk con influencias del rock alternativo del los 90..s y suma lÃricas profundas , sociales y personales.Su álbum “Desamor†fue editado en abril de 2006 con 12 canciones de pura emoción rockera, que llevaron al grupo a obtener un premio MTV Latinoamérica, como Mejor Banda Independiente del 2006 en la cuidad de Mexico DF.
En estos dos años Charlie 3 realizó más de 80 shows en todo el paÃs, méxico y uruguay en el marco del “Desamor Tour†, en el que estuvieron incluÃdas durante tres dÃas consecutivos, las actuaciones en el Festival Pepsi Music 2007 de Buenos Aires (el evento musical de mayor convocatoria en el paÃs) en el espacio Vans Rock' n & Ramp montado por esa reconocida marca musicalizando exhibiciones de bikes, skateboards, wakeboard y performances de street art.Para la difusión de “Desamor†la banda produjo hasta hoy cuatro video clips que rotaron en los principales canales musicales del paÃs y de la región:“Como un vientoâ€; dirijido por el grupo de diseño gráfico Fase.

“Tesoro†dirigido por Vinilo Films.
“RÃo†dirigido por Julián Manzelli, (miembro de Doma) para StudioChu.En Noviembre de 2006 la cadena MTV convoco a la banda para grabar Alerta Live, una sección de la señal que presenta nuevos talentos a través de conciertos, acompañado
por un recorrido de la historia del grupo. Dicho programa fue emitido para toda la región, incluyendo Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador y Argentina, entre otros.En una ingeniosa propuesta de merchandising, los dos personajes protagonistas de “RÃo†clip fueron convertidos en juguetes, un niño y una niña hechos en tela y reversibles.En abril de 2008, a travez del apoyo de la marca “Vansâ€, la banda lanza 2 modelos de remeras “Charlie3†exclusivas y de edición limitada (una de ellas utilizando graficas del video clip “RÃoâ€). Es la primera vez que dicha marca realiza una campaña de colaboración en latinoamérica (colaboration issue).Actualmente el grupo se encuentra preproduciendo el material para su próximo disco de estudio y rodando “Escondidosâ€, el quinto videoclip de “Desamorâ€. Mientras tanto se prepara para acompañar a los colegas de “El Otro Yo†el sabado 14 de junio en la presentación oficial de su último disco en el Estadio Pepsi Music (ex Obras Sanitarias) de la cuidad de Buenos Aires.......................................................

SHThe band was created in 2002 and it is formed by drums by Pablo Florio, guitar placer MartÃn Dócimo and bass and vocals by Esteban Zunzunegui. The band was claimed to be emo-punk by ClarÃn newspaper, a very well-known best-sold paper in Argentina.
Charlie 3 performs a kind of music which was made famous in South America thanks to the popularity of some bands such as Greenday. This style keeps the sound typical of punk music and offers deeply thought lyrics intertwined with personal aspects and profound confessions. It also makes reference to the alternative rock style of the 90’sTheir second album, Desamor, was the one which called the attention of the MTV representatives and the judges agreed on awarding the band as the Best Independent Band in Latin America 2006. The album was released in April 2006 and it includes 12 songs, which rock you to the core. In order, as they are in the CD, they are: 1. Un buen dÃa/ 2. No estás solo/ 3. 1000 estrellas / 4. RÃo / 5. Escondidos/ 6. Como un viento/ 7. Sin Patrón / 8. La gente pájaro/ 9. Basta para mÃ/ 10. Tesoro / 11. Vibras / 12. Mi dinero.
Since it was released and within the Desamor Tour, Charlie 3 performed in 60 shows all throughout the country. In September last year, the band participated in the Pepsi Music Festival 2007 —one of the most popular events in the music field— and they provided their fans with three exclusive and consecutive days of pure music and emotion in the place organized by Vans Rock' n & Ramp. While some exhibitions such as bikes, skates, wakeboard, performances of street art were held, Charlie 3 cheered the audience up with their lively music.
Charlie 3 has already made 4 video clips, all of them broadcasted in Argentina and the nearby countries by the most important music channels.
Como un viento was their first video clip in the album. It was designed and carried out by a graphic desing group called FASE and produced by Charlie 3. The members of the band can be seen among clouds —as the CD cover design shows— in the rain, with torrents of flowers and leaves moving towards them by the uncontrolled force of a blowing wind.
The second video clip named 1000 estrellas was directed by D..Urbano. It depicts a night of a sleepless man and his love aches while his partner is … sleeping?Tesoro, the third cut in the album Desamor, was directed by Gustavo Schammas and produced by Vinilo Films. The song is a quiet one with sound sounds of a six-string and a chelo. It is a metaphor that expresses the search of each band member who faces their own quest, struggling between the past and the present. Tesoro takes place in natural scenarios, reinforcing the idea of the insight and the search by means of the use of images of old railways and carriages in the depth of lost suburban landscapes.
RÃo is the forth video clip in Desamor. The script and direction were in charge of Julián Pablo Manzelli, well-known member of the Argentinean Design Group Doma. The clip was produced by StudioChu y made use of a mix analogic techniques of CutOut Animation and digital composition. It was a two-month process.
In an ingenious proposal for merchandising, the two characters involved in this clip were converted into toys. These are two different costumes, made of cloth and reversible. One of the models representing the boy, and the other to the girl.
