:: Infos about Ultragroove ::
- Ultragroove is a dub, dubstep, d&b and electronica producer and dj from germany.
- his real name is Falk Schubutz, born 1972 in the central/eastern part of germany.
- mainly influenced by dub, dubreggae and electronic music he early
discovered that the only real love in his life is good music.
- Ultragroove’s music is about mood setting, reflection,
cocooning and feelings of loneliness and absence… but not only.
Beside of this some tracks are so called floor killers
- after playing around with tech dub, jungle and drum ‘n bass tracks he went back to dub in 2006. So he is one of the early dubstep producers from germany.
- some other facts:
- jungle, d&b, dubstep, dub, dubreggae, reggae, lounge and techhouse dj for about 13 years. (as DJ Lone / Ultragroove)
- used to be a kind of "resident" dj @ Kassablanca Jena (dub,
reggae, chillout, jungle, trip hop, drum&bass) between 1995 and
2002.
- he was one of the operators/owners/deejays/founder of the original underground location/club AXIS in Naumburg.
- producing dub, dubstep, breakbeat, d&b, dub house and ambient tracks since 1994.
- done the complete soundtrack, the sound collages and the sound
engineering for Naumburg’s theater: "Don Quichote" and "Le Petit
Prince"
- sound engineer for several bands and projects between 1997 and 2005.
- worked as an editor, producer, sound engineer and moderator for RADIO FRN 99.6 FM.
- produced and hosted the weekly live broadcasts: "Treibgut", "E-Grooves", "SpaceTime" and "ZeitzReise" for several years
- placed a track on KATTOOS album "Megrim" (“Track 18â€) and got his first entry on discogs.com
- re-activates his dj skills to bring massive dubstep and drum 'n bass
tracks to the dub massive and promote his project again. Now under the
alias ULTRAGROOVE.
- released the album “Q-Bus†on his own label Sativa-Sounds.
Followed by the releases “Assassin EP†and “Run Out Of Rizla†available
from www.digital-tunes-net.
