Proud Scotsman (Wi' some Northern Irish blood coursin' thru' ma veins!), and I'm 'chained' to my wee Mags (My Best Friend & My Rock..!), and we have 2 teenage daughters ('The Toxic Twins') & 2 cats. I'm an ex-welder from the shipyards o' the lower Clyde, and have also had stints at roadieing with rock bands! Passionate about Football (Hibernian FC & Newcastle United FC... and Scotland, of course!), Rugby League (Workington Town)... Musically, I'm mainly into 'Classic' Rock/Metal (& their sub-genres), NWOBHM, Spacerock/Psychedelia/Prog, Some Punk/New Wave, Ambient, Reggae, African & Arabic sounds, Folk/Country Rock, Jazz Fusion, Blues & even classical..! Can't stand 'Wimp AOR' or 'American Glam/Hair' Rock, Manufactured Pop, Dance, Disco, Hip Hop & R'n'B crap etc.... But, each to their own, I suppose! I don't so much as play but, abuse the bass guitar... Don't play/abuse the instrument (of torture!) in bands anymore... Became an 'occasional' roadie wi' bands instead! Don't add me, if yer only wantin' yer site displayed, an' then don't bother to stay in touch! I can be a miserable git but, also funny. A bit of an enigma but, make a REAL friend of me, and you have a friend for life... or FIEND if you prefer!
