I was raised in California and transplanted to Illinois.
I love all styles and types of music and I played guitar in an amazing experimental industrial band called Black Ops. Some of my personal and Black Ops work is here: http://www.myspace.com/djxombi and the Black Ops band site is here: http://www.myspace.com/blackopsagency
Radio is also one of my passions. A couple of local radio celebrities named Ray Lytle and Jim the Photographer encouraged me to get into radio. I was a DJ at 92.7 WQLZ The Rock Station for a about a year and hosted a local music show with Ray and then later with Jimmy called QLZ Bandemonium. I went to very cool station called 88.3 WQNA The Edge for about a year with one of my best friends Jim the Photographer, along with Razor, Rage and Bishop. We did an unsigned music show called The Midwest Music Network. MMM lasted about a year.
In 2003 I left WQNA to focus on helping Ray Lytle create an Internet radio station called Disaster Radio and I starting producing my own radio shows. I created and hosted: The Hardcore Show, The Vault, Poppin Cherries, Weird Frequencies and the most popular of them all, The Basement Show, which is still going strong today.
So at the end of 2008 I opened my own Internet radio station called The Basement Radio Network. It's located at http://www.BasementRadio.net. We have close to 30 web serials on there. I do 2 of of my own on there, The Basement show and my newer show Weird Frequencies. BRN is all on video. It's kind of like a blend of radio and TV. Already we've gotten a huge amount of listeners and new friends. Today we get over 30,000 hits a day. Check it out below or go here to the main site: http://www.BasementRadio.net !!!!!!!!

On the airwaves and on the mic I'm a madman, off the mic, I live a quiet private life and have a small family and a very small group of good friends. And I like it that way.
I created a series of outdoor 3 day local music festivals called BandCamp 1, 2, 2.2, and 3. I lost my ass on all of them so I stopped promoting concerts, but it was a blast.
