Anyway, Merzbow's music is comfortable and painful at the same time, not entirely unlike if Jack Nicholson were to throw you in a hole and then dump drawerfuls of cutlery on you. At first your thinking, hey, this is great, Jack never comes over anymore, but after a while, with a 14-inch steak knife sticking out of your forehead, you suspect that maybe this isn't such a good time after all.
