The Studio
The main studio is a 24 track (simultaneous record) digital/pc based system
with 32-bit floating point DSP and unlimited track count .
We have what you need to get your song heard.
Why mess around with Boombox recording
When you could, for a nominal fee, have your tunes recorded, mixed &
mastered to your satisfaction and burned to CD for your listening and
Marketing pleasure. The system and the mics are great and the
engineer is punctual and friendly. Flexible scheduling on nights and weekends make us a prime choice for local bands who
work day jobs and want more for their hard earned buck$
We also offer a 3 day satisfaction guarantee, after we cut and mix
you have 3 days to listen to a final mix and call back concerning any
changes to be made. We will book you into a time slot and make these
adjustments free of charge
(excluding major retracking or redoing a whole track).
Remote Recording Service
The Mobile system is based around an Alesis ADAT recording at 24bit/48K
and a Mackie 1604VLZ-pro mixer and utilizing the same great mics available
in the main studio. Great results are possible with this system
but will vary according to the room and istrumentation that you provide.
The remote service is also good for live show recordings in smaller venues.
The rate for the remote service is $55 per song + roundtrip
fuel & tape costs (roughly $10 per 40minute S-vhs).
For live show recordings the rate would be $50 per hour + roundtrip
fuel, tape charge & cover charge for the event.
Pricing
Rates currently stand at $20 per hour . Block rates are also available.
Mobile ADAT 8-track recording is available as well. The rate for that is $50
per hour + roundtrip fuel & tape costs (roughly $10 per 40min. S-vhs).
Mixing of remote tracks will be $20 per hour.

The Music:
Stay tuned as we will be rotating the playlist from time to time. These
Recordings are a cross section of styles and, in some cases, clips from
the Compilation. The original artists own these songs and they are used
by permission. If you'd like your song removed, please let us know.
They are here purely to give you an idea of what we do, they are not
to be used for any other purpose.
The Compilation
The first Compilation is due out sometime in 2008 and will be titled
Volume 1 .
