About Me

I try to learn something new everyday, whether on the guitar, drums or in my life. I try to have an open mind when it comes to music. I have a deep love for music, although blues has a special place in my life. Blues guitar is what started me playing guitar in the first place, so it is natural for me to gravitate toward that style. I started playing drums at age 14 with Bryan Williams and Chad Green (of LSD 30 fame). At age 26, I decided to try my hand at guitar, shortly after that I got to share the stage with them again. I could name several people I have shared the stage with, but I wonder how many people bother to read this part of the pages anyway...lol. I am currently working on my CD, only the second I have pursued seriously. I have started several project CD's, only to watch them dissolve and get put on the back burner. Well, now it is time. I will be playing all instruments on this one as well as all vocal tracks. It will not be the fastest produced, but it will be exactly the way I want it, which means the most to me. Ed Roland and Dave Grohl had the same idea, hopefully it will work out for me too.LEAVE ME A COMMENT IN THIS BOX PLEASE!!!

Sounds Like: What do I sound like? Well, everyone wants to sound original, unfortunately everyone has some of tidbit of influence somewhere. I try to stay in the funk/blues/rock area. I really love to hear Stevie Ray Vaughan and anyone who has been influenced by his work. I didnt get into SRV until after he died. Would have been cool to see him live. I love new stuff too though. Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, Weezer, Stone Sour, old Metallica, Kings X, Tantric, Days of the New, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, and anything with cool guitars and great vocals. What do I sound like? You be the judge....
