About Me
The vivacious, sexy, creative and not to mention talented Leanne 'Kimi-Lee' Odle has been singing from as early as four years old and writing songs from as early as eleven. Growing up listening to artists such as 'En Vogue', 'SWV', 'India Arie' and 'Jill Scott' has totally cemented the love of music for this bubbly young lady. Always a little shy to sing in public she started the quest of overcoming her fear at the age of 19 when she was a part of a three member group called 'Karma', which performed in Cafe Jungles for a short period of time. Although the group did not last very long, if not for it's experience, Kimi-Lee would not have known that singing and writing were truly her passions in life, and that she should start taking them seriously. Having always been in love with poetry, Kimi-Lee realised she had a gift for writing poems of her own and adding melodies to them. She believes that being able to express a feeling through writing is a gift from God and accepts whole heartedly her innate ability to connect with others through song.
So far this talented 21 year old has had a self penned song for crop over 2005 called 'She don't matter'which came out of Master Mind productions produced by Ricky 'Jock' King who was really the first producer to take Kimi-Lee seriously. As time progressed she formed a friendship with Hit island Producer, the very complex and driven Kristian 'KB Sharp' Broome and singer and highly talented song writer Ryan 'Buggy' Chase who would also give her very important tips about the music industry. In meeting KB she met Fabian 'minim' Worrell who; along with Buggy, produced her first non calypso song 'Tap It'which featured friend, and member of C.O.A, Matthew 'Matt Cruz' Babb. But Kimi-Lee's talent does not stop there because she can also, with the help of her teacher and cousin (the multi-talented musician Stefan Walcott), accompany herself on keyboard. Through these sessions, Kimi-Lee met Stefan's friend and 'minim's brother, Justin 'Black Magic' Worrell. Justin, a very talented and highly trained musician, and member of the hott band 'Masala', made Kimi-Lee's dreams feel like they could finally come true by working with her and allowing her to use his studio, Worrell Bros Productions, in which almost 10 demo songs, which will be sent to various international producers, have been produced. Kimi_Lee is also a member of a Barbadian Latin band called 'Proyecto Barbados'. All that is left to be said now is watch out world and prepare yourself to be blown away by this budding superstar KIMI-LEE !!!!
