Through her modeling blog, http://Amodelsdiary.blogspot.com, Dania Denise is becoming quickly known on the Internet as the go-to-gal for all information about the modeling industry.BIOGRAPHY:Dania Denise first became interesting in acting and modeling after receiving a flyer in the mail advertising an open casting call in San Francisco. One visit and a snapshot was all it took for Dania to be signed to a Bay Area talent agency at the age of 15. When given the choice between a local talent agency and one in Los Angeles, Dania stated that she would rather have an agent close to home so that she wouldn’t have to miss school. Being academically oriented, Dania managed to hold a 3.5-4.0 GPA in high school, while heading off to auditions and shoots in San Francisco.Dania was cast in a supporting role in an independent film titled “A Night to Remember”, where she played sassy and sarcastic Tanisha, who plays the devil’s advocate when one of her best friends is raped. She also appeared as a featured extra in a Discovery Channel commercial for the show “Myth Busters”, where she worked with famed director, John Landis, who directed Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and cult classic “An American Werewolf in London”. Dania played another featured extra in the film version of the musical, “RENT”. Although her scene ended up on the cutting room floor, getting the opportunity to meet Rosario Dawson was worth the 13-hour San Francisco shoot. Dania's modeling hit the mainstream when she was chosen as JET Magazine's "Beauty of the Week" in November of 2004. Around the same time, her broadcasting talents took her to Los Angeles, where she reported live on the red carpet at the 2004 BET Awards Show at the Kodak Theatre. Dania stood her ground as a journalist against some of the biggest celebs, including Russell Simmons, Dave Navarro, Steve Harvey, Houston, The Sugar Hill Gang and Fantasia to name a few. After those successes, Dania has decided to revamp her image and reintroduce herself to the public as a serious model, actress and news/entertainment reporter. With the introduction of her first big independent project, the Dania Denise 2007 Calendar, she hopes to build up her fan base and take her craft to the next level. While the nature of some shoots may require showing a little skin, Dania maintains her attitude of being “classy, not trashy."[LOVEMYFLASH]
