The Acid Jam

The Jam is something that happens on the second Saturday of every month. Aside from that, every Jam is different.
These things are often true of the jam:
There is lots of free food. The jam is also free.
Many of the people who go are musicians, artists, or performers in some capacity, and are pretty interesting people.
It is a day thing, not a night thing. It often runs into the night, but that's because there are not enough hours in the day. It begins midday/early afternoon. Try not to be too late, you will miss things...
There is live music, most of it improvised, always different, though generally with a latin vibe to it. If you enjoy playing an instrument and you don't bring it with you, you will regret it.
There is a general spirit of creation and improvisation; Sometimes there is dance, song, spoken word, poetry, sculpture, painting, improv comedy.
The jam is a place where you can do/make things. If there's something you'd like to do, there will be people willing to play with you, and any materials can be organised.
