Just a Good Ol' Fashioned Loverboy.

About Me

I'm just a good old fashioned loverboy, doing what I can to be the best person I can be. I aspire to do great things and be a great person. I'm a romantic at heart, each and every breath I breathe is in a fairy-tale land of true romanticism.

I like the rain. It's indescribable, words can't do it justice, which to me means a lot. I like words. Everything about them. Nothing is more entertaining than playing with words, semanticisms. Umbrellas also share a fancy with me, along with skirts.

I think too much.

My Interests

Semantics
Psychoanalysis
Cooking
English
Writing
Literature
Existentialism
Umbrellas

I'd like to meet:

The one person whom I can give all of my heart too. Sounds kind of cheesy, but if you know me, you know what I mean.

Haha, and the white female cat, too. One and the same, I imagine.

Music:

I can't really put a genre to the type of music I like. I like to feel music. If it's not sensual, then I usually don't care for it. Pink Floyd is good in this sense, and Lavender Diamond too.

Movies:

Garden State
Clockwork Orange
Boondock Saints
The Blues Brothers
Pay It Forward
SLC Punk
Cowboy Bebop
Stranger than Fiction
Those movies that make you stand up and think to yourself, "Man. I'm happy to be alive," or "Shit, what've I been doing this whole time?"

Television:

Nothing really sparks my interest on the ol' television set anymore.

Books:

Dante's Inferno
Anything Kafka
Voltaire's "Candide"
Shakespeare
The Picture of Dorian Gray
To Kill a Mockingbird

Heroes:

I try not to idolize anyone. Rather, I look at what they've done and aspire for greater.

Feelin' Regretful

I won't say that there is nothing that I regret in my past, but I will say there's very few things that I can think of that I do indeed regret.  Most of these things are pretty dire, you know, re...

Feelin' like another hodgepodge.

Feelin' Downtrodden.

The rains gone.  It won't be back for a couple months now, regretably.  A lot of people say they like the rain.  I always wonder what it is about the rain that they like.I know some peo...

Feelin' like a little bit of John Donne

This poem has had a certain charm to me since the first time I read it last year.  It's called "The Broken Heart", and it's by John Donne.  Give it good pony, I'm sure a lot of you can relat...

Feelin' like a fish.

To quote a wonderful song by those potheads Pink Floyd, do you ever feel like "a lost soul swimming in a fishbowl, year after year?"  It seems that life festers, if you will, in the same spot unt...

Feelin' Like a Work in Progress

Is it wrong to feel one way one week and then the next week completely contradict yourself?  Is the fickleness of being human something to be ashamed of?  Whichever way the wind may blow, is...

Feelin' Noncommital

Why is it that we seek the affection of a single person?  As far as I can tell it's with the hopes to establish a physical connection.  The hopes that there will be more than just friends, s...

Feelin' Spontaneous

During a game of FreeCell, I came to the conception that the perception of another person or yourself is a superficial visage created by that person.  A person's true self is shown when they do n...
