hello She phoenix are a team of fire dancers pushing the boundaries of imaginative and creative fire performances into a whole new field. Currently amoung our dancers are "The Magician", "Ember", "Whispering Willow", "Nemo" and "She phoenix", Each with a very different style and feel to their fire dance. Some of us use fire poi some fire staff. Other pieces of equipment include fire hoops, whips, juggling balls, diablo, short staff and extended poi, yet we are not "spinners" or a "circus" type act, we dont really do "tricks", though we have been known to breath fire from time to time. Rather we are a crew of fire dancers who have set out to make something completley new, to move and inspire you, to get the goosebumps on the back of your neck standing up and your juices flowing. Our aim is to put a little magic in your life via our interpretations and characterisations with fire set to music to move and inspire you. We'll be releasing our first dvd towards the end of the month and we can reveal here that it's title will be "Resurrection"... It's a collection of short videos featuring all the current She Phoenix dancers and preview clips will be available here soon to entyce you to come back to see more and then on to our web site www.shephoenix.co.uk (under construction) any time after 30th November, where you will be able to purchase the full dvd just in time for christmas! and My oh My what a great pressie, for all ages and tastes too.
