About Me

Who am I? The short answer is that I am the future ruler of the World. However, being a realistic individual, I am content with being the ruler of my home for the time being. I have one loyal subject in my little “nation” at this time, though I suppose you can’t really call him loyal as he doesn’t recognize me as the supreme ruler (some crap about us having equal rights within our marriage or something).
Now, the long answer to who I am:

I am a stubborn, controlling, and independent woman. I am also very open-minded and reasonable. I like to make my own decisions, and I like to surround myself with people who are confident enough to let me make their decisions, too. Especially if they need me to decide how they should vote.
I grew up in Small Town , USA , the third of six daughters to two wonderful parents. I have several nieces and nephews, which gives me the joy of spoiling kids without the agony of changing diapers and 2:00 a.m. feedings.
I am married to a wonderful man whom I met whilst living in Scotland (he is English and had been living in Scotland for nearly 20 years when we met). We are a real-life case of opposites attract. But that doesn’t matter because we have a healthy respect for each other’s views; which basically means we keep our traps shut instead of telling the other why they are wrong (mostly).
I have an equal amount of approbation and a loathing for both Mr. Murdoch and Mr. Turner. You see, they really do rule the world, or at the very least control it. But, I suppose, most people don’t even know it!
Stick around. Read my ramblings. Learn more about me, my thoughts and opinions, and what your thoughts ought to be.
