Reaping Havoc

MyGen Profile GeneratorReaping Havoc was formed in 2003 by both Nick Green on guitars and vocals and Hadrien Hadife on guitars. Back then they did not consider themselves a band and met up and jammed to famous Metallica tracks in order to enjoy themselves and further their abilities on their respective instruments.
Slowly but surely, however, while picking up the pace in jamming sessions and introducing a more interesting and diverse range of musicians, from Yngwie Malmsteen to Alexi Laiho and Dimebag Darrell (R.I.P.) to Joe Satraini and Chuck Schuldiner , they started to feel as though metal was somehow lacking, not only in its originality but also in its vibrancy.
The band endured several different line-ups, each as flawed as the last, until September 2008 when Gabriel J. Garcia (Bass) and Jesel Gohil (drums) joined. This is where it all began.
With different tastes in Metal and contrasting playing styles, it seemed unlikely that Reaping Havoc could continue in its current state. In a miracle turn of events, however, the four members somehow managed to seamlessly integrate their tastes to the songs and delivered a style which is to revive many aspects of Metal currently held alive by a mere sliver of bands.
The Rhythm, the Harmony, the Meaning, the Attitude and the Spirit - these are what compose Reaping Havoc that the metal world seems to have forgotten in favour of such superficial things as Brutality and Stage Looks.
Taking Death Metal influences ranging from Cannibal Corpse to Necrophagist, Thrash influences from Slayer to Testament, influences from Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Children Of Bodom, integrating Classical styles and blues elements along the way, Reaping Havoc have mustered what can only be summed up as a Modern Metal Masterpiece, staying true to their roots but spearheading a revolution in Metal for years to come.
