SHE'S THE DIVA YOU DON'T WANNA COMPETE!
Her Name is quickly related to the Maestro Abdo Mounzer, also her father and manager who supported her dream and stood by her on her first stage appearance when she was 5 years old, she was singing the last notes of the song and echos were filling the room of the continuous applause. And ever since, that echo is still heard till now...

At 10 years old Hiba sang live in front of an acclaimed music audience a solo Christmas Carol for the big event at Salle des Fêtes Annexe de la Mairie- Paris 14e. The result was unexpected success, and compliments on her singing talents.
It was necessary to proceed accordingly after this success, so Abdo Mounzer decided to introduce Hiba to a larger audience by having her record an album for children. At the age of 11 "Yalla Yalla ya zghar" was her first album, the "Namleh" was her first video clip, and a participation in the "Nile's first child song" International festival in Cairo was her surprise. The song "Tic-Tac" included in the CD and her unique spontaneous appearance on stage, made her the hit of the summer as Competitors, Jury and Audience were repeatedly mumbling the chorus of the song.
"I was so young at that time," Hiba says "I didn't realize that I had a talent, for me singing was just like having breakfast before school, and lunch after and a prayer before going to sleep!".
A winner in singing festivals,a member of her father's Christian Chorus, a guest of honor at a "Lions" event in Regency Palace singing live and performing with a professional group of dancers, a voice Disney's Middle East channel had requested for several years for their shows "perperan, Pbnj and Kim Possible, Hiba showed multi talent skills throughout her teenage years, as she was also for seven months the presenter of the TV show "Efrahou Maana" on Tele Lumiere, she was the choreographer at school events, a director at her Summer Village Theatre, a piano player and a painter at home... but Hiba had only one thing on her mind... Performance.
November 2001, brought winds of change to Hiba. She followed her dream of being a performer. This was realized when participated in Romania in the First International song contest for children supported by FIDOF . She was 14 then, yet with a powerful voice that won her the 3rd runner up award, not forgetting a lifetime opportunity to remember. “It was the first time that I felt this love for singing†She says, “Although it was a tough competition and the song I had to sing was difficult and requires a professional singer; I did not let stage fear control me, and I discovered how powerful my voice can be.â€
...I decided from that moment, that I wanted this as my career!
She released her first single after years of preparation and hard work in January 2004, “Chou bhebbak†became the number one hit and also won in the same Romanian Festival the “Popularity Awardâ€. She has been called "Britney Spears of the Middle East", and sustained more and more by audience as she showed more dancing skills and confidence in her second hit "Keef Baddak Habibi"... A controversial jump to a "Whitney Houston" feel made the headlines for her exceptional inimitable emotional chant in "Khedni Habibi".
Interviews, Festivals, Concerts, Photoshoots, TV appearances, Fans devotion and crazy Hollywood trip... “I felt I was walking a new pathâ€. But it didn't take away Hiba's responsibility to finish her studies, as she graduated on the top of her class February 2008 from USEK. Her major was Cinema audio-visual. She proved to herself and her fans that she is as much as Patriotic as talented by competing with her song "Beirut Ya Beirut" in Alexandria's International singing festival coming home with 2 prizes and a Video Clip ready to direct.
