..INTRODUCING........
Rashida, singer, harpist, and songwriter, began singing lead in her church choir at age 7, and studying harp at the DC Youth Orchestra at age 10. Encouraged by her mother to combine her singing and harp, Rashida learned Stevie Wonder's "If It's Magic." It was then that she found her niche. She began writing R&B songs on the harp, and singing and playing harp across the country. Rashida has been coined the “soulful harpist.†Her father, Noble Jolley, Sr., the late, renowned Jazz Guitarist who earned Howard University's first degree in Jazz Studies, mentored Rashida and her siblings in music. Today, Rashida's brothers Nathan and Noble Jolley, Jr., produce most of her music. Her goal is to leave a lasting impact, and make the harp an official R&B/Hip Hop instrument.
