About Me

Kream was born in the BX borough (The Bronx, to all you non-New Yorkers). Kream, a name he has been known as since age 12. The name "Kream" is self-explanatory, it's simply what he's about. It's what he's always been about since he fell in love with Hip Hop, and took it to the streets of New York. His past had a lot to do with his current career moves.
Kream started rhyming at age 16, but didn't get in the booth until age 23. By then he was well developed and encouraged to do it by his peers and family. They all believed he was ready to take on the industry. He always stated that he never was infatuated with the fame. It was the challenge and the passion for music, to the point that it was only a hobby until he soon enough became driven for success and the "Kream Kidash Niggaz".
Kream also had a saying, "Even though I recognized my gift, I never dreamed, because I came up as a lil' nigga runnin' wild and always livin' for today, cus we never promised tomorrow, and we all know fame and royalty checks don't come over night, so I've never chased my career from the beginning, I was amongst Hustlers and ballers. That became the allure to all the shit I wanted to achieve and possess, from jewelry to vehicles. So fast money was my shit. Then I reached a certain point in my life, which is a part of growth, that my whole perspective towards life changed when I hit 23. I seeked direction. I knew I didn't wanna be in the streets forever. I needed a legit grind. So poof, there you go. My biggest inspiration that has driven me to take this route was my daughter Kimore”.
Kream's swag as a chill and layed back artist with a swift delivery, puts him in a class so different from the rest. He helped develop a lot of artists (You know who you are whether you choose to admit it or not!) and now, it's his time to get it in. His flow and mic presence is always dominant. Versatility, while staying true to self is what keeps him ahead of all and sounding like no other.
What Kream's rap career has lacked is consistency and a strong foundation, as far as following through with performances, appearances, networking, etc. "I didn't have the proper direction. Trying to branch out into groups and downplaying my own talent has stagnated me long enough." So the next project he releases is a solo mixtape entitled "Honorably Mentioned".
This doesn't mean he won't appear on another mixtape scene, or feature on other artist's tracks, it just means that it's time to focus on himself. With that said, look out for the mixtape coming this Winter 2009.By Dwayne
