We are the Stereo Killers
Due to deep devotion to the rhythm of grunge music, a band known as SICK OF ME was formed. SICK OF ME was formed in January 2003 at Shah Alam during the line-up of the band who were furthering their studies at a university in Shah Alam. The line-up of the band at that time consist of Hazree (guitar/vox) Ijam (Bass) Wan ketapunk (guitar)and Ayie (drums).In the mid of 2003, SICK OF ME had recorded their studio rehearsal sad, cry and rock n roll which follows the concept of post-grunge/ indie-rock but the release of the song was given to their close friends only, as the release was not for sale due to the fact that the band was planning on recording an E.P at the end of 2003. Facing unforeseen difficulties and study stress at that time, SICK OF ME became less active and finally in November 03 the band members decided to split up and went separate ways. After the split-up, some of the members decided to create their own bands, and others joined other bands around Kuala Lumpur and Subang Jaya.November 2006 saw the idea of reforming the band which was being engineered by Hazree who was at that time still hanging loose with his pals. The new band was finally tuned somewhere around November 2006 with a new line-up, however Hazree and the new line-up decided not to use SICK OF ME thus changing to its current name STEREO KILLERS with a new concept based on Rock/ Indie/ Amigo-pop. The DEMO was successfully completed on January 2007! The cd is now release and sold for RM4 each hand to hand / RM5 by post.
