Né en 83, Metafor découvre le hip-hop comme plusieurs jeunes de sa génération avec le Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, Mobb Deep et compagnie. Dés le début, le coté instrumental l'intéresse énormément. Il loop des parties sans paroles de chansons a l’aide de 2 tape-deck pour en faire un beat continu. Le cadeau de 2 tables tournantes d’un ami (Bobby) confirma sont gout pour la musique. Il scratch et remix des chansons dans son temps libre. Par la suite, il acquière rapidement un ordinateur pour explorer d’avantage son intérêt avec des logiciel de séquençage. Il enchaine un beat après l’autre et, en peu de temps, des rappeurs ce montrent intéresser par ses créations.
Depuis 99, Metafor a produit des beats pour plusieurs artistes de sa ville, de sa région, du Québec et même de l’extérieur. Ses beats sont principalement influencés par le hip-hop underground des années 90 mais aussi par une multitude de styles musicaux: Folk, Oldies, Funk, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Classik et autres. La productivité fait sans aucun doute partie de ses forces. Des ajouts sont faits régulièrement à sa banque de beats.
Metafor n’entend pas abandonner sa passion d’ici peu, qui sais ce que l’avenir lui réserve...

Born in 83, Metafor discovers hip-hop music as several young people of his generation with Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, Mobb Deep etc. Dices the beginning, the beats production side interests him a lot. He's looping parts of songs without voices with the help of 2 tape-deck to make a continous beat. The present of 2 turning tables of a friend (Bobby) confirmed his love for the music. He's scratching and remixing songs in his spare times. Afterward, he quickly acquires a computer to investigate his interest with sequencing software. He makes beats one after the other and, in a short time, rappers shows interest in his creations.
Since 99, Metafor produced beats for several artists of his city, his region, from Quebec and even from the outside. His beats are mainly influenced by the underground hip-hop of the 90's but also by many musical styles: Folk , Oldies, Funk, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Classik and others. The productivity is part of his strengths. Additions are regularly made in his bank of beats.
Metafor does not intend to abandon his passion soon, who knows what the future reserves him...
