Influences: God sometimes, Satan all the time, Mary Magdalene was not a whore, bands that amaze us, progressive, modern, retro shit, really expensive brand new instruments from really corporate instrument stores, and trying to make it sound as old and vintage as possible, good literature, good art, scary movies, etc.
Sounds Like: If there was a part two to Old Man and the Sea (Hemingway), and Manolin (now a grown man) seeks vengeance on his friend/mentor's (Santiago) killer "The Sea". But before he can begin battle with "The Sea" he stumbles upon a new species of fish, "Dick Fish". Unfortunately the school of Dick Fish are sex starved, and brutally rape and abuse young Manolin. I don't want to ruin the ending for you, but let's just say that young Manolin's life is saved by a certain 18 ft. Marlin's (part one of Old Man and the Sea) offspring, which is just shy of 22ft. ........................... ............................................................ ......................Well if this sequel to "Old Man and the Sea" did exist, and was made into film, it would be directed by Wes Anderson, "Manolin's" character would be played by Gael Garcia Bernal, and the soundtrack would be MOON to VERSAI.
