Tahir - The Gospel Engineer

Hey Guys!It's great being able to re-connect with so many of you! It took me a while before I jumped on myspace, but I see what a great networking and reunion site this is!Who am I? Do you really wanna know? :) A very optimistic, musically-inclined, son of God, orator, writer, song-writer, father, husband, brother, true friend, great listener, athlete, DJ, radio personality, smart worker, ambitous entreprenuer, people-person, and genuinely happy guy.I currently reside in Los Angeles, CA with my wife Shimika and our two boys, M.J.D. (who's 4) and Q.P.D. who just turned 2 this October! So one can only imagine the constant excitement in our home! Why Tahir "The Gospel Engineer"? I originally used the moniker as an on-air announcer/DJ for Hampton University's radio station, WHOV. It has followed me over the years and been used in a mobile DJ business that I started in LA. Recently, The Gospel Engineer was revived to host a weekday show for a satellite radio station that airs in over 2/3rds of the world (but not North America...sorry).I've had the opportunity to use my Finance degree while working for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority in various departments, managing budgets, contracts and bus operations. However, my true passion (and calling) is in Radio Broadcasting! I love music and good conversation and look forward to owning radio stations across the country & in Great Britain, and blessing the world with my gifts and anointing on-air in syndication. I also have a strong desire to promote the music of the Kingdom and the artists who "bring it" straight from the throne!Also be on the look out for music inspired by God for your heart and soul.
