My thoughts, words and actions are constantly challenged and torn through the internal war between my Spirit and my Flesh. My Spirit seeks righteousness. It desires to be pure, true and honest. It seeks to better myself throught knowledge, wisdom, compassion and understanding. It seeks to help the world, forgoing my own comforts, for the humble honor or serving others. My Spirit seeks to walk in the footsteps of Christ. To be as Christ, to live as Christ. To love God, with all my mind, all my heart and all my soul. My Spirit seeks to mend all my errors of my past, through the dishonour I have brought upon myself, through the sin I have commited against others. This dishonour brought upon me, through my lies, my spiteful words, my mocking of others, my actions that have caused pain or embaresment to others, my cheating, my stealing, my coveting, is dishonour and shame to me, As I have lived knowing the truth and beauty of righteousness, yet have shunned this integral wisdom and understanding, to further my life and means, through taking advantage of the world, and more importantly the people in it. This is my sorrow. This is my Sin. This is my Sin caused by my Flesh. The Flesh fights my Spirit. My Flesh seeks all worldy indulgences. It seeks the self gratification of life. It seeks to be glorified by the world. It seeks the power and corruption of the decadent lifestyle. It seeks all things that provide instant gratification - The adulteress life, the greed of riches, the wielding of power to control the masses. It seeks recoginition from this world - even through the knowledge that this world is corrupt and self glorifying. It seeks to be accepted by the masses. The masses who induldge, lie, cheat, fornicate, steal, inflict pain and shame upon others, It seeks their recognition - as the Flesh lusts after their lusts. This is where the war strikes the biggest conflict within my soul. For this world is corrupt, fueled by lustful desires, manipulated my greed, controlled by the vain and corrupt. Yet the attraction of acceptence overwhelmes me. Yet the shame of this attraction disgusts me. My Spirit is True and Righteous. for as God created man, forming man from the dust of the Earth, and breathing the breath of life into him (The Spirit), Man became a living Soul. The Spirit is Gods call to us to remember all that is pure and true. The Spirit is Gods call to us to remember to love one another as each other. The Spirit is Gods imprited knowledge onto your soul, to remember - that you are not meant for this world. You were not created to suffer and die. You were created to live in harmony with the world and all that surrounds you, living forever in the presence and glory of God.The Greatest Commandment is to Love God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul. The Second Great Commandment is to love your neighbour as yourself. These are the commandment that the Spirit seeks to adhere too. These are the commandments that though we may not all be Christians, or even belive in God - within ourselves, at one time, have felt this desire. To be true and righteous to the world around us, and live by these commandments. Though the war between my Spirit and Flesh rages everyday, and though I sin everyday - I find comfort knowing that my Faith in Christ, and through the Grace of God, my sin filled life has been saved. To all I have sinned against, I ask for your forgivness. To all who have ever felt that society is not providing the answers you are seeking, and you feel their must be more to life, I urge you to seek Christ. Seek Christ before the establishment of Religion. Christ words bring peace, truth and understanding to all who seek it. God is seeking you, may you find him too. To all who read this, and feel moved by the Holy Spirit to seek God; May the Love and Peace of God our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen.Your results:
