About Me

I've been playing bass for about 11 years, before that I played tuba in high school and jr. high. I originally came to the Austin area to study Jazz at Texas State University in San Marcos. I've been working as a full-time musician for about 5 years now and am traveling quite extensively. Currently I'm gigin with Paul Eason Band out of Austin. Some other acts that I work with are Jonas Alvarez out of the Austin area and Vitera, also out of the Austin area. I also work with Curb recording artist, Star De Azlan out of Martindale. I am also playing at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Austin on Sundays. I love playing. It's what I was put on this earth to do. I also love to play many different styles. To me, the best part about being a full-time musician is not that I have lots of fun everyday doing what I do. Its not the money either. Its the experience that you take away from the transaction. If in learning something musically, socially, politically, or religiously that makes you better at what you do than you were going in to it, to me that's a big deal of what being a musician is all about. Lastly, if your seeing my page for the first time and you like what you see, send me a friend request, I'm always interested in meeting new people and bands. PEACE!!!__________________________________________________
