Band Members: Tim Smith started his musical career at 10 years old, playing Ace Frehley in a KISS cover band. Man, did it take a long time to put on that make up! At 18, he moved to Atlanta to join CBS recording artists, The Producers, who were an explosive power pop band with a large college following in the early 80's. Tim formed his own group, Thing 1 Thing 2, later to become Umajets with Rob Aldridge in 1990. 2 independent records were released on Clearspot records. In 1992, Tim joined Jellyfish, as bass player, and played and sang on their lavish record, Spilt Milk. The band broke up in 1993. Tim joined Sheryl Crow's band in 1996, and has recorded and toured with her ever since. In his down time from Sheryl duties, Tim toured with the Finn Brothers in support for their "Everyone Is Here" release in 2004.
