DI.VA is a 19 year old Singer/Rapper/Dancer/Songwriter/Model/Actress. She is very multi talented. She came up with the name DI.VA, not just because she has the attitude, but because of the first two letters of her first and last name spells it: DIANDRA VADEN. She use to go by Young D.I.V.A. until she realized that she's becoming a woman. She lives and breathes music everyday. She has been rapping and writing songs since the age of 9 and singing and dancing since she can remember. She was always recording herself singing her songs on the karaoke, but she recorded her first track in an actual studio at the age of 13. She knew that she wanted to pursue a music career when she won her 8th grade talent show singing and rapping one of her original songs titled, “I Know That You Want Me.†She then began to participate in other contests and started doing open acts and performances for summer festivals such as Juneteenth and Afro Fest. When she got into high school, she began singing The Star Spangled Banner for the boys and girls varsity basketball games to get exposure. She also sent in one of her songs to her local radio station V100.7, the number one radio station in her city. The song she sent in was a song that she recorded at the age of 13 titled, “Singing My Lullabyâ€, which received radio play on Heat From The Street. Being from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, it’s often hard to get discovered so she travels and is always looking for ways to get exposure so she can passover. DI.VA is very versatile so she is capable of singing many types of genres such as R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, Pop and Neo soul. She has the potential to be the next big thing because there isn’t anyone out there like her. She is a triple threat because she has so many talents and one day she’ll be able to prove it to the world! Real Soon!
