About Me

For years scientist Grady Wilson Phillips had experimented with genetics. Earning his BA in genetic engineering and commandeering leadership in cloning technology, Phillips had quickly become a respected and revered name in the scientific community. He had even won a Nobel Prize which he humbly kept in his garage next to a broken vacuum cleaner, a rusted toaster, and a few other items that he had considered useless. To Grady, the scientific world had lost its luster. Being that he was a genius, he had quickly become bored with theorems and postulates and began to crave for some of the more exciting things life had to offer. Things like action, romance, adventure, music, and POWER! The latter of these interests intrigued him the most. Dr. Phillips began using his resources and intellect to help create the ultimate driving force of power….a force that transcends both good and evil. He began by gathering the DNA of two of the greatest forces known to man. Lexx Luthor: The world’s most devious criminal genius who’s disdain for man has driven him to the brink of controlled madness and megalomania. Luther Vandross: With his abilities, he was able to touch and melt the hearts of anyone who heard his music. Dr. Phillips figured anyone with these two attributes [ the perfect balance of good and evil] could easily rule the world. After years of experimentation, he finally had perfected his creation and managed to create an entity known as Lexx Luther Vandroz, a fine specimen of humanity. His creation was charming yet powerful! LLV had only one flaw. Because his abilities were beyond anything in the known universe, there was no way to essentially control LLV's powers. This being a potentially dangerous creation, he managed to split his powers into six different parts. When these pieces were forged together, they would bring Lexx Luther Vandroz into existence in our dimension for about an hour. Now all Dr. Phillips needed to do was unleash his creation in a way that people would no be suspicious of. Luck came along one day when a group of musicians named Cadre began practicing in the abandoned warehouse across the street from Dr. Phillips Lab. He asked them if they wanted to become famous. What up and coming musician would say "no" to that? He had convinced them that he was a producer and that he had lined up a tour for another band, but, due to complications could not follow through. He said that he needed someone to take their place immediately, but they would have to change their names. The band agreed and walked over to their new producer's "studio". When they arrived, they noticed that the studio was not a studio at all! It was too late! The professor trapped them in a containment field! The Cadre boys were rendered helpless and knocked unconscious by the ray's power. When they came to, they realized that their clothes were different, and they felt a bit stronger than before. Dr. Phillips explained the real situation to them. He had placed the six parts of LLV into their bodies. The power of Lexx Luther Vandroz could only be unleashed by their instruments. Dr. Phillips told them that they were to be given new identities as well based on the DNA injected into them for performance enhancement: Rick James Earl Jones (vocals), G.G. Allen Alda (guitar 1), James Dean Martin, (guitar 2), Ricky Ricardo Montalban (Bass Guitar), Wolfman Jack Tripper (Drums), and Lionel Richie Cunningham (Samples Lights & Sound). To Dr. Phillips surprise, his new minions gladly accepted their new roles and new mission without any brainwashing, with the exception of the drummer not liking his name being changed. Now they are here to influence you to become part of Dr. Grady Wilson Phillips's diabolical plot to musically enslave the world.
