........... (portuguese) olá, meu nome é g.mantese... moro em porto alegre-rs, cidade onde nasci e cresci tocando música em duas bandas: noisegrind e colide... (tem profile delas)... tocávamos música indie/punk.................................................. ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ..................... de uma excitante e suave adolescência nos 80´s e 90´s, andando de skate com meus amigos e colando cartazes para nossos shows pela cidade de madrugada ...... hoje em dia porto alegre me tem na maioria das vezes passando estressado e ofegante em meio a uma "pesada" rotina de trabalho e compromissos....... etc etc etc...... mas a parte boa disso tudo é que eu nunca parei de escrever canções ..... Sim! mais do que nunca, uma caneta, um caderno, um violão + outros instrumentos é um dos meus últimos refúgios....compreensão, desabafo, subversão, liberdade, confusão ............................................................ ............................................................ .............. em 2006 eu catei um equipamento pra me ajudar a compor e a gravar as minhas próprias músicas, as músicas dos meus amigos, parcerias, girlfriend singin´ etc etc etc ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ..................................... (english) my name´s g.mantese. i´m about 30 years old and i live in brazil. i grew up playing music in two bands: colide and noisegrind. We used to play indie and punk music (check them out here in myspace), and were in some records, made some "good/cool" recordings, shows but mainlly had nice experiences ................................... nowadays i work and work and work only to pay a lot of dues, to feel older than i really am and all that kind of stuff about being .................................................... bored (?) ........................ bla, bla, bla .......................... but the good part´s that i never stoped writing songs ................................... After colide´s broke up, in 2000, i made two recording sessions, 2001 and 2003 (some of these songs are here in mp3), as i started to listen and be influenced by jazz, bossa nova, folk music .... trying to put a bit of this cool music together with the music i always loved ...... etc ............................ Now, in 2006, i bought some computer equipment to help me record and compose my own songs, my friends songs, our new songs, play with diferent friends, girlfriend singin´, etc, etc ............................................................ .
