About Me

AtticTracks began as a series of chemically-fuelled overnight jam sessions among a small circle of friends in the attic of a mid-19th century house in England's south-east. Arming themselves with an array of live instruments, a motley handful of effects and a Tascam 4-track recorder, the wayward crew set about creating soundscapes to lift them beyond the sloping wood panels of their fledgling studio. Their feet firmly in the ambient world, the introduction of a PC to the setup widened their horizons infinitely; and so they progressed, releasing their latest to like-minded individuals in the locale. In 2005 the setup was relocated, piece by piece, across the ocean to the bustling metropolis of Pittsburgh. And that's where I am now. My name's Cary, and I'm the founder of AtticTracks. I make tunes in the spirit of what went before, at the same time incorporating my love of drum'n'bass, breaks and trip-hop. Hope you enjoy the songs here :)
