About Me
I'm Dustin "Tater" Hyde. I was born and raised in Texarkana, Texas. I am a racecar driver, and that is what I do for a living. My job is my lfe. I have been racing since I was eight years old-starting in go-karts. When I turned thirteen I started driving a stock car, and eventually I moved up to the modified class when I was fifteen years old. I ran a lot of local shows around my area, but now I only race at home when I'm not touring with the USMTS- United States Modified Touring Series. I got picked up by an awesome sponsor, Renea Ducote, and I'm so very thankful for her to allow me to do pursue my dream. I also just got another sponsor, Leon Ramirez, where I drive one of his Ramirez Racecars. Without the sponsors, there would be no racing. So I am very thankful for getting this opportunity to make a living racing, doing what I love. I hope this experience helps me become a better driver, learn more, meet many more people all around, and hopefully open up some great opportunities for the future. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, being my goofy self, pit parties, floating the river, fishing, camping, and cooking out.
