DJ Tone1, was destined to be a DJ. With an insatiable thirst and love for music, it's only right that he transfer that love to the "crowd" as a DJ. "As long as I can remember, music has ALWAYS been apart of my life." DJ Tone1 started playing piano at age 5. "Playing classical piano really trained my ears and hands to be in sync with each other. It also taught me how to count-musically. Growing up, I was always involved with music in some way; be it playing drums, keyboards, piano, etc. I was introduced to hip hop at an early age, so whatever I heard on the radio, I would try to play. Not satisfied with the results, Dj Tone1 kept searching for his niche. I was introduced to DJing by my older cousin. At the time, he was doing parties with a friend, and he showed me the basic fundamentals of Scratching and BeatCueing. After that it was a wrap. By 17, I was doing parties. It just came natural. From Scratching, to transforming, it was like second nature.DJ Tone1 continued testing his skills thru college, DJ-ing parties, making mixtapes, etc. Known for his old-school style, and seamless blends, he began to make a name for himself as the official House-Party Deejay.Always known as the quiet guy in the group, DJ Tone1 explodes once he is behind the wheels. I feed off ENERGY! If youve ever been to one of my parties, you know that youre gonna get 100% from me. All I ask is that you allow me to take you on a journey. I represent the hip hop culture (the 4 elements). I do this for the love of this culture, so if you let me take you there, I promise youll enjoy the ride!My goal is to be true to the culture, and show people that its STILL ALL ABOUT THE DJ! To keep the thing alive, we must educate the youth about this Hip-Hop Culture, and show them ALL sides.
