About Me

I've been described as many things but I think to summarise in my own words I would say I'm generally a bit crazy (especially when I don't get enough sleep and tend to become hysterical), can be quite dippy at times (I blame the Blondes in the family - its in the genes!) and I try to live life to the full as much as possible!!If I ever won the lottery I would buy a VW campervan, paint it green with purple flowers and travel the globe with a sketch pad in one hand and a pad and paper in the other to write my many tales of adventure!Most amazing experience I've ever had was jumping out of a plane at 9,000 ft on my 22nd birthday!! Most amazing 5 months of my life was the time I spent travelling. Most amazing achievement was having my play performed at The Birmingham Rep as part of the annual Transmissions festival. Most amazing piss-ups ever had - time spent at the manor supping ale down at Norms (even surpassing Uni which is quite an achievement!)

My Interests

I enjoy Theatre, especially anything by Kneehigh Theatre Company and I love to Write Plays. I also lead theatre workshops for Children. I try to be as active as possible and really love the great outdoors! I love climbing, Kayaking, Mountain Walking, and Coastering (everybody should try this at least once! It's such good fun!) I also love drinking...usually in copious amounts, dancing...usually after drinking the afore mentioned copious amounts of alcohol and generally I just love to have a laugh and enjoy life!

Music:

Fav tune of all time Radiohead 'Fake plastic trees', fav dance tunes of all time Baby D 'Let me be your fantasy', Snap 'Rhythm is a dancer' & Prodigy 'Smack my bitch up'. Ok, to name but a few of the bands/artists that I like: Radiohead.Muse.Prodigy.Green Day.Placebo.The Streets.Avril Lavigne.Foo Fighters.Gwen Stefani.Jack Johnson.Pete Murray.Nivana.Linkin Park.Limb bizkit.Staind.Chili Peppers.Snow Patrol.Jewel.Oasis.Yeah Yeah Yeahs. At the moment liking the Paolo Nutini album for a bit of chill out time and really liking the new Snow patrol single feat Martha Wainwright. Generally quite eclectic, will try anything once...we're talking music here people!!!

Movies:

Ooh favourite films...generally anything that makes me laugh. I love old movies with real movie stars such as Audrey Hepburn, James Dean and the young Marlon Brando. Love Some Like It Hot. Cinema Paradiso is a film everybody should see at some point in their lives!As for my Favourite films I love Almost Famous, Lost in Translation, A life less ordinary...can't say I have an all time favourite. I enjoy comedy. I HATE Horror! (Only because i can never sleep for a week after watching one!) Yes yes i'm a big wuss i know!!

Television:

I'm completely and utterly hooked on Lost! Don't know what I did without it! Roll on season 3!

Books:

I'm not the most patient person and books require a lot of patience really!I tend to read plays more. Most amazing playwright of all time - THE Howard barker closely followed by Sarah Kane. Basically anybody controversial and a bit fucked up!
