It is one thing to break an attendance record; quite another to break it again on your return visit. That is the case with Forever the Tribute and their appearances at a regional amphitheatre. Not only was a record set for attendance on the first visit, but the follow up visit set an amphitheatre record for most pre-sale tickets and broke the prior record for attendance. Heck, we almost got Boy Scout Troop 499 all the way to 500! (Next year, boys…)That seems to be the case with this band. For the past ten years, Forever the Tribute has entertained and charmed audiences from age five to eighty-five with the most authentic reproduction of Beatles music anywhere. It is difficult to imagine a show where the grandchildren are singing the songs along with the grandparents, but it’s a common site with Forever the Tribute - authentic, entertaining, family fun!It’s more than the music. Forever the Tribute is not just a couple of guys playing Beatles’ songs. It’s a full blown Beatles show! The instruments and amplifiers are completely authentic. The on-stage demeanor of the band is authentic. It is even rumored that the bass player performs with a lock of Paul’s hair clipped to his head. And since the jackets for our guys were tailored by the owner of Sir Paul McCartney’s original Shea Stadium jacket, even the reproduction clothing is as authentic as they get - without the moth holes, of course.Yep, this is the Beatles for all practical purposes. The charisma and sense of humor that we saw on television takes the audience from bursts of laughter to a chorus of thousands singing Yellow Submarine!Regardless of the age of your audience, their favorite music or their choice of hairstyles, there is no music more widely accepted than the Beatles.
