I'm an artist, in all senses of the word. For me, being an artist does not necessarily mean that I must limit myself to one thing, or one kind of art. Being an artist is knowing how to see life through artistic eyes and to bring out your own unique expression, even if it means in the way you talk and act with people. My main concern is spirituality, it is the driving force to my art. I am primarily a painter, because I feel that painting is the best means for me to portray my emotions. There is something about painting that brings out a certain satisfaction within me. However I am also experimenting in Sculpture, Photography and Installations. Each one is still a reflection of me, however drawing and painting is what allows me to breathe, where line seems to be the source of all life and imagination.The beauty in art is that it brings together reality and fantasy and this is why in most cases I usually tear parts of the paper or the canvas in order for the painting to form part with what lies beneath it - Life itself.
