Pat

Pat started mixing in Basel (Switzerland) after founding chateausm, a bold attempt to combine and refine parameters of French poststructuralistic philospophy by highlighting "jouissance", "plaisir" and "gourmandie". (read more on http://www.patkalt.com/pro_chatusm.html)
He was quickly introduced to local customs and morals by his buddy Maxime of jurassic descent. The first gigs in the valleys and mountains of the beautiful Swiss canton offered a wide range of dark and bass-orientated music from drum&bass and electro to detroit techno.
After his move to Berlin, the sets and styles started to mingle with local heros and Berlin brio. Many parties had to be celebrated and rave had to go on. Open-air or inside clubs (WMF, NBI, Tresor, Helsinki, Zentral, Paradies, Maria, Cookies, Heeresbäckerei, Love Parade, Dönerlounge), Together with Maxime the guys proved to be one of the most persistent upstanding, disc-twisting and fist-waving DJ-couple you possibly can imagine.
Pat was the winner of countless inofficial titles "raver of the weekend" and of several rave cups...
Meanwhile Pat fell in love and escaped the Berlin swamps, leading a harmonious life in a city in the south of Germany where they serve Brez'n and Weißbier in the morning to fight hangovers...
Pat Kalt is also performing as brand DJ for selected companies (e.g. BMW, MINI, Volkswagen, AOL etc.) and brand events.
From 2004 to 2007 he was the official DJ at the Phaeton Lounge at the Berlin Berlinale.
