About Me
Tomas Herak, started djing around 6 years ago, when he bought his first cd players and mixer. In his early days he played mostly for friends at techno parties in the student T-club, which he sometimes helped organize. As time went on though, he realized he wanted something more, and started buying his first vynils. He has never felt any musical boundaries, and that is the reason why from the very beginning he’s been playing tracks ranging from slovak broken beats to hardtechno or schranz, which weren’t as known and popular back then. His “profesional†start is closely tied to the legendary underground xXx club, where he became a resident, and shortly after he joined the Trinity agency. It is safe to say that this was a turning point in his musical career. After spending 2 months behind the decks, he got a chance to play an afterparty in a club called Arzenal by djs such as Budai and Julian from Hungary, and this was later followed by gigs in clubs such as Supalova (Kosice), Trezor (Poprad), or festivals like Free Summer or Ecler Spring.Herak is now well known thanks to his quick and hard beats, and precise mixing. This is one of the reasons why he ended up playing hardtechno, a genre loved but also looked down on by many people. He is still faithful to this style today, and in his every gig he tries to bring something new and innovative, something full of energy. As time went on, he started to organize his own parties, where names such as Swen Wittekind, Mario Ranieri, Arkus P., Frank Kvitta, Thomas Green, or Bornah played. He also helped organized few events in Slovakia and the Cech republic.Since musically he is not narrow-minded, around 2 years ago Herak started playing a style, which was in a big contrast with his musical evolution up to that point. Deep house has enchanted him, and he can sometimes be heard paying this style at a party called House It!, which he co-organizes.Support: Rush,Henrik B,Sven Wittekind,Mario Ranieri,Robert Natus,Arkus P,Frank Kvita,Felix Krocher,Viper XXL,Amok,Bazz-Dee,Morison,Thomas Krome,Inigo Kennedy,Jay Denham,Christian Wunsch,Tim Taylor,Zina&Mandy,Marcelo K2 aka THE PUSHER!,Pedro Delgardo,Gabriel Pallomo,Swiv,Takaaki Itoh,Thomas Green ,Bornah,M.a.x.x,Roland Kadela and more ...
