..Random pictures.Moody sensiblog is a simple bracelet plus electronic devices able to read the biometric parameters of the user, to interpret them as emotional state and to transmit them to a blog through dedicated software, for further information www.moodysensiblog.com. Here a video showing the product and a video appeared on an american website:Reindy is a concept lamp designed at the laboratory of sintesi finale at Polytechnic of Milan. The brief was proposed by the architect Italo Rota, suggesting to design a lamp for a waiting room in a hospital, touching the themes of death and life connected to hypothetic sickness of children. The little black reindeer has got flexible solar panels as sunglasses and saddle. Hanging out from the window thanks to magnets, the sun recharges the batteries and automatically in the night the little reindeer ghost lights up. Here the presentation video that ironically underlines the role of teachers and professors in the design field:
Testemone is a weird bag designed during a 5 days workshop with Kind & Miranda Associati Studio. The product inspired from 20’s hatboxes and sea floras such as anemones. The little “mushrooms†inside made up of white silk, are the support for the hats. Outside traditional leather creates the volume of the bag. Here a mood_board video from the presentation:This was a 2 days workshop about recycling. The story is simple: 8 good bacteria decided to eat and modify my bathroom rubbish into new usable products. Every redesigned object has got the shape of its creator…Rosetta, Tascapane and Ligneo, are three new concepts of Italian toasters. No stress for the bread! Just a stylish 50’s inspired bag, or a young urban style one, or a minimal piece of wood. Modern materials and technologies permit to the bread to be heated into unusual containers.Giara was designed in a five days workshop with Enrico Baleri. The brief was to design a waste paper bin. I just thought we have enough bins in our offices, so I designed a bin for beaches and hotels in tourist places. The inspiration come from the old way to contain wine or oil and considering the shape of cactus coming up from the sand. The bin can lie on the sand or stand with its own metallic leg. This project was not about a product in itself, but the way you can present it. We designed a concept of decorating supports for light bulbs. Then we presented this concept at 3M industry, in Milan.
