JC Magic and the Sunshine Troopers started about a year ago when a group of guys decided to play together for assembly.
Jeff Chen was unsure what to call the band. So he emailed his trustworthy group of song critics and one individual replied with "JC Magic and The Sunshine Troopers" in bold with three exclamation points.
Jeff is from Taiwan. He is a senior in high school.
Will is from California. He is a senior in high school.
Logan is from Alaska. He is a senior in high school.
Hampton is from California. He is a sophomore in high school.
Jeff is now in the process of booking shows in Ojai, Ventura and Santa Barbara. So if you have suggestions, tell us! If you want us to play somewhere for you, bug that place, bring a whole group of friends and sit outside their door with signs saying, "get JC Magic and The Sunshine Troopers to play!". And then write us a message or wall post saying it was you and give us a link to pictures of that. We'll make sure the performance is dedicated to you.
Want to see us get big? You know the drill. Bulletins, emails, phone calls, conversations, while you're making out, on an airplane, in the bushes, over IM, while you're eating, after you're eating, while you're driving, while you're dancing, while you're drinking, while you're feeding a catfish, while you're happy, while you're sad, while you're insane, while you're calm. Anytime those are happening, mention us. If you do, you're amazing.
