Musician, Biker, TeacherI have loved music my whole life. I started playing guitar when I was 11 have alway loved the blues, even before I knew what the blues were. I saw a Muddy Waters show in 1975 and found out that it was the blues that I was digging all along. I was blown away as I listened to Muddy play song after song that I thought had been written by Clapton, the Stones, or the Allman Brothers. Ever since that night, I've been a fan of the blues. ............................................................
...................................................Since then, I've played every time I've had an opportunity. I've written and recorded a CD and played bass with a great new blues band from North Georgia called Cherry Vendetta. (Check these guys out! They are great friends and a great band.) I hope to start a new band in the near future. ............................................................

aly, I'm a public school teacher in Dalton, Georgia and have taught elementary and middle school level. History is my favorite subject to teach. I've always had a sense of destiny and I believe that I was meant to be a teacher. Being with kids keeps me on the go and helps me stay young. ............................................................
................................................... When I'm not teaching or playing music, I enjoy riding my 94 Heritage Softtail and having a few beers with my buds. I got my first bike when I was 14 and have loved motorcycles ever since. I've found that the best friends are the ones you meet riding. There really is a "brotherhood of the road" that you'll never find in a cage. I've had two crashed that could have taken my life, but I always get back in the saddle. As the old saying goes, "If I have to explain, you'll never understand." ............................................................
............................................ I served in the US Air Force for fifteen years, which gave me the opportunity to travel the world.I have lived in Norway and Taiwan as well as several parts of the USA. I have visited most of Western Europe, parts of Mexico, Canada, Japan, and Egypt. My favorite places are Memphis, New Orleans, Northern Italy, and Arizona. When I retire in a few years, I plan to spend a couple of months riding a Harley to the parts of the U.S. that I've never seen.
