We are all presented with choices and those choices determine our paths. If we follow our heart, we'll get exactly where we need to go but, at the same time, must remember that the journey is is how we grow and evolve. Mine has been winding and twisting through many different places. My great grandparents came to the US in the late 1800's - early 1900's from Poland and Italy (my mother's family is Italian and my father's Polish). This has given me a great and colorful cultural background upon which I began to grow. Raised Roman Catholic and sent to Catholic school for the majority of my education, I often found myself questioning the religion of my family at a young age. I learned about other religions and wondered why mine claimed to be the only right one, the rest being blasphemous. I could not accept that millions of other people on this Earth were doomed simply because they were never exposed to the "right" faith. That, along with my strong connection to the Earth and stars, lead me to seek out other belief systems. In high school and college, I learned about Eastern religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism. Both resonated with me on a deep level and became the basis for my own path going forward. I then stumbled onto the Pagan path in college. It hit such a strong chord with me however I felt I still needed to continue learning. Only a few years later, I realized I had already found my true path, the Green path, that of Paganism. I've been a practicing Witch and Pagan for around 8 years now and continue to add knowledge and ideas to my ecclectic craft. In 2007, I obtained the level of Reiki Master and strive to make that an integral part of my life and eventually my career. One of the most fun and fascinating experiences I've had (and continue to have) is my podcast called Mooncircles which I share with my cousin, Strega Luna. By researching and presenting ideas and thoughts to an audience, I have learned quite a bit and continue to learn more. I hope you have a listen as I think you will enjoy it as much as I do.
