About Me

New Zealand most respected Polynesian Female Recording artist of the decade. With a deep love of her Christian Faith, Lole started out in mainstream secular music With a NZ Music Award for most promising female vocalist in 1997 and most recently BEST FEMALE ARTIST FOR 2008 AT THE PACIFIC ISLAND MUSIC AWARDS IN NEW ZEALAND, 5 top singles in NZ Charts, numerous performances alongside the best of them Cece Winans, Boyaa-Tribe, Katinas, SAVAGE to name a few. Her First Album Samoana released on her own record label in 2000 sold 250,000 albums worldwide and was a big hit in the Polynesian Communities around the world. She has toured America 7 times performing in 10 states and her 2nd album 'THE MOVEMENT whch was recorded in Samoa in a little shack under a coconut tree in 5 weeks in August 2007 an album which is bi-lingual in English and Samoan is now available worldwide through Itunes.As well as a great peformer and vocalist she is also a songwriter and has written for many NZ artists in many genres of music. From RnB, Hip-Hop to Christian, praise and Worship music she also arranges and produces music. A multi talented woman with God given gift.She never forgets where she comes from. Of Samoan/Tongan and Descent she is proud. Lole is now residing in Samoa and Los Angeles to prepare and write her 3rd Album which the Whole world will discover called 'The Storyteller in 2008 with doors open, the world will soon discover the unique sound of 'Lole'. An artist that will bring the new sound of music to America, never heard with lyrical poetry that will blow your mind. She is not afraid to explore her cultural roots while other polynesian artist head down the familiar road of mainstream music, she's done it all Mainstream to world music, and does not like to be put in a category.
