i live in florida, reading too much (and not enough), drinking canadian beer, playing funk music, studying morocco, smoking my hookah (and my new old man pipe) and generally having a good time. i study music in morocco (where i'll be this summer) including sufi and gnawa (gnaoua) music. i play in a few orchestras around florida and georgia, a couple of lousy bands in gainesville (funkology, pickurdy junction) and i dream of being able to sit on a porch playing accordion and banjo all day.
