We are a group of young students and workers who recognize the problems of homelessness, poverty and hunger in Cape Town and have decided to do something about it. In order to do this, we have begun raising money and collecting food to distribute amongst the people who need it most – the homeless. Our aim is not only to provide healthy vegetarian meals for these people, but also to raise awareness around the issue of homelessness and poverty as well as other issues such as capitalism, war, exploitation, sexism, racism and the environment. We accept any food or monetary donations and are more than happy to have anyone (regardless of race, religion or gender) come out and help us make and distribute some food.
