I would say 80% of the time it's rock. Right now my ipod is loaded with: 30 Seconds to Mars, AC/DC, Alice in Chains, Army of Anyone, Audioslave, Beth Hart, Bob Marley, Coldplay, Collective Soul, Counting Crows, The Cult, Eric Clapton, Evanescence, Jeff Buckley, Led Zepplin, Live, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Rob Zombie, Ryan Adams, Shinedown, Three Days Grace, Toby Keith, Tori Amos, and Willie Nelson just to name a few. I love movies!! I love a good laugh so comedies would be at the top of my list. Although, I like a good action flick. I'm not squeamish so horror and sci-fi movies are in, as well. So, basically all genres of film are on my list.
Television:
I am a TV junkie! I'm hardly ever home, but I have been blessed with TIVO. I like Desparate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, all of the Law and Orders, all of the CSIs, Numbers, Without a Trace, Cold Case Smallville, Supernatural, Dexter, Nip Tuck, Prison Break, Bones, House and of course, I have to get my daily dose of ESPN.
Books:
I love to read, but with two teenagers, I don't get much time. I'm not a Harloquin romance reader, to sappy! I do like mystery novels by Mary Higgins Clark, John Sanford and Patricia Cromwell. Almost any mystry novel will peak my interest. I also like Anne Rice, John Grisham, James Patterson, and Nicholas Sparks.
Heroes:
My kids! They are really great. I learn something from them every day. My parents and grandparents. They have each been through many obstacles in their lives and never give up. Their attitude is "Things could be worse". I think that's where I get my stubborn nature and keep on keepin' on attitude. There is always someone in the world going through something worse than you. Look at our world today. You can't go any farther than the bottom. The only way out is up!!
